Free improvisation is a complex macrocosmos of sound waves produced by instruments, where music composes itself on the spot and expresses through the players, who manipulate the energy. There are no structures or timing, rhythm or harmony, nothing is prepared beforehand. There is no such thing as a mistake, everything can be transformed into a new idea to be developed, everything is a seed. Musicians conform a constellation of different identities, each of which chooses it’s function freely, without any type of hierarchy.
